Head of the East 2026

WNRC will be hosting the Head of the East

on behalf of the

Eastern Region Rowing Council

on Sunday,1st March 2026

Planned Boating Times:

DIV 1 (long) - 08.45 DIV 1 (short) - 09.30 DIV 2 - 12.00

If possible we will boat earlier, so please prepare early.

The weather looks to be +10 degrees, a brisk southerly wind and rain showers. Shelter at the site is limited, so please dress for the conditions (wellies). Div 1 Long in particular should layer up as rowers will be waiting for the short race to start first. River levels will be fine and the wind is with the stream, therefore, racing will be downwind and downstream!
